When it's Sovtek!

According to a bulletin issued by CE Distribution, JSC Svetlana of Russia has lost it's ability to sell tubes bearing the Svetlana name in the USA, due to a change in ownership of it's former American distributor.
The ownership of the Svetlana proper name in the USA now belongs to EH/Sovtek. This allows them to sell tubes branded "Svetlana" that are made side-by-side with EH and Sovtek tubes in the Xpo-pul (Reflector) factory in Russia, essentially making them the same tubes as their Sovtek and EH counterparts.
Genuine Svetlana tubes are STILL available, but do not bear the Svetlana name. Instead, they wil sport the "Winged C" logo, which is a Cyrillic "S" in a circle with three horizontal lines in the background that appear as side wings. THIS, and only this, is the sign of genuine Svetlana tubes, and are available from CE Distribution. If the tubes say "Svetlana", accompanied by an "S" logo, you are getting Sovtek tubes.
Pass this on.
